You are looking for English 1:1 online lessons to prepare for a Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BULATS) or IELTS exam in order to study or work in the UK or to meet your employer’s language requirements and are looking to have a structured approach to this as well as the opportunity to receive individual attention to your preparation. Perhaps you need English for work in order to converse with clients, partners or customers, understand work documents and network. Or, you are moving to the UK, for work or family reasons, and want to get started or keep learning English so that you can apply for jobs, do grocery shopping or make friends in English. 

Alternatively, you have a personal interest in the English language and culture, want to go on a holiday for which you would like to have some knowledge of English or want to challenge yourself learning a new language and have found yourself having time at the moment to start taking classes. Online English lessons are designed to fit your needs and can cover a range of subject areas:

General English

Whether starting at beginner’s level or advanced, focus on language skills and improve your grammar, fluency and accuracy through general topics, from grocery shopping and the British cuisine, to the news, to meeting up with friends. Learn common expressions, about the English language and culture and increase your confidence, productivity and opportunities in English.

Example structure per week: 3 lessons of 1 hour.

Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BULATS) or IELTS exam preparation

Prepare for any of the Cambridge exams (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BULATS) or IELTS exam with individual guidance and support. Attention is paid to all exam areas or can focus on your specific challenges in order to make you feel best prepared for the exam.

Example structure per week: 4 lessons of 1,5 hour.

Business/Legal English

Expand your English vocabulary, writing (e.g. email, cover letter, CV) and presentation skills based on the sector you work in or the field in which you are applying for jobs. Develop your English skills for work in international/European political environments, such as the European Union, or academic contexts, 

Example structure per week: 2 lessons of 2 hours.

Conversation and pronunciation

Develop your confidence in speaking English and fine-tune your sounds and accent by practising your pronunciation, spoken fluency or accuracy revolving around topics of your interest. Speak English during your lunch break through 30 minute lunch-time conversation slots, as part of a lesson plan or as specific lessons.

Example structure per week: 1 hour + 30 mins lunchtime conversation practice.

A specific skill: writing, reading, listening

Strenghten one specific skill at a time for work or study purposes or out of personal interest by combining skills development with your interests. Develop reading skills through fiction, news or subject-specific articles, improve your listening skills with a wide variety of audio(-visual) material and enhance your writing skills.

Example structure per week: 1 lesson of 1,5 hours.

English for specific projects

You have a specific project, for example you are preparing for a job interview, seeking to provide commercial information in English, revising texts, writing an article, giving a presentation, getting in touch with English-speaking friends, family or loved ones, and you would like to find the right vocabulary or expressions, prepare yourself or polish your project before putting it out there.

Example structure per week: 5 lessons of 1 hour.
